Devang Jain leads Aaloka Solutions. The business builds on the family's long-standing presence in plastics through Sanjog Plastics, but is deliberately structured as a modern importer and stockist rather than a traditional trading house.

His background is finance rather than sales. After a Master's in Management of Technology from New York University, he spent two and a half years in New York with VMLY&R as a Financial Analyst and then Client Finance Analyst, before returning to India to join AltMobility — first as a Senior Credit Analyst, then as Credit Manager, underwriting and managing risk on commercial vehicle financing.

That is an unusual route into industrial materials, and it shows in how the business is run. Working capital, currency exposure on imports, landed-cost modelling and supplier concentration are treated as things to be measured rather than absorbed. It is also why the company competes on specification accuracy and documentation rather than on quoting the lowest number.
